FellahAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI-powered farm management platform, including our web application and mobile app (collectively, the “Service”).

By using FellahAI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2.1 Information you provide directly:

• Account information: Email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and display name.
• Farm profile: Farm name, location (city/region), farm type, and size.
• Animal data: Species, breed, tag number, birth date, weight, health records, and vaccination history.
• Crop data: Crop type, parcel name, area (hectares), planting date, and growth notes.
• AI conversation history: Messages and images you send to the FellahAI advisor, including photos of crops or animals submitted for diagnosis.
• Financial records: Income and expense entries you log within the app.

2.2 Information collected automatically:

• Device information: Device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage data: Features accessed, pages viewed, and timestamps of interactions.
• GPS / location data (optional): If you grant location permission on mobile, we use your coordinates solely to provide weather or region-specific agricultural advice. We do not store raw GPS coordinates beyond the current session.
• Log data: IP address, browser type, and error logs, used for security and debugging.

• To create and manage your account and provide access to the Service.
• To power AI advisory features — your farm context is sent to our AI provider to generate personalized advice.
• To display your farm overview, animal and crop lists, and task reminders.
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing account.
• To send transactional emails (e.g., password reset, billing receipts). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
• To improve and train our platform using aggregated, anonymized usage patterns. We do not use individually identifiable farm data for model training without explicit consent.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Conversation data sent to our AI provider is processed solely to generate your response and is not used to train third-party AI models under our agreements.

FellahAI uses minimal session cookies only. These are strictly necessary cookies that maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in to the Service.

• Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active.
• Upon account deletion, your personal data (profile, farm data, animals, crops, AI conversations) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked to any individual.
• Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations (typically 7 years).

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format (CSV/JSON).
• Objection: Object to processing of your data in certain circumstances.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted storage, row-level security policies on our database, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FellahAI is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via an in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. For EU users, we additionally comply with the requirements of GDPR. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Morocco, without prejudice to your rights under applicable local law.
